The STORM_save polyethylene access collar is designed for light commercial and passenger vehicle traffic single wheel load only. The collar is a round shaped LDPE polyethylene access cover and is designed to fit all STORM products with a 680mm diameter clear access. The collar has a load foot for multiple engineering surface finish and accessway secures a lockable pedestrian-trafficable cover fits into a matching recess in the tank collar to provide and even surface across the top of the tank- lid only loading of 10000N.

For Augmented Class A+ the additional loading can be achieved through special order for the following:

MDPE moulding material

increase to 10mm wall thickness of lid

increase to 10mm wall thickness of collar

urethand infill for lid

urethane infill for collar

metal bars support in collar

When used in an appropriate manner this collar assembly is a secured light duty trafficable cover to underground asset.

The safety bar assembly is an optional extra product at the buyers cost. The bar assembly will bridge across the collar as a second line of access prevention to restrict accidental entry into the sieve chamber in the event that the cover is damaged or removed. When the bars are correctly anchored to the collar assembly they provide additional support for the lid.

Our access cover is designed to meet the functional aspects of structural top loads across the access opening as well as other access features to make the below ground device secure from its housing collar. 

The Access cover has a three point securing design and key tool lifting position ensuring that the access cover cannot be removed without utilising the key tool in normal circumstances.  This includes where the underground drainage may incur back-pressure from an over-charged event like in a flooding situation so the public safety is catered for and the drainage cannot surcharge out of the device at this capture point. 

The lock design ensures the key can not be removed from the cover unless the locking slide is in the locked position.

The polyethylene (PE) covers and fabricated metal plate covers (AL) are latchable using a single key tool.  The key tool is a proprietary design that is only made available to municipal and civil contractors.

This collar assembly attaches to the top of the STORM_save or can be used as a stand-alone lockable access frame where a secure access trafficable lid is required. When used in an appropriate manner this collar assembly is a secure,light duty trafficable cover to underground assets

The collar assembly includes the safety bars that also prevent accidental entry into the sieve chamber, or below, in the event that the cover is damaged or removed.

The riser allows compatible STORM devices to be installed deeper into the ground than their nominal design depth. The riser fits securely on the tank and will accept either another riser, or the tank collar. Up to 3 risers can be used on a single device, which permits an additional 1.5m of installation depth to be achieved.

This replacement key is used with a STORM_save and ECOV tank products with a single or dual keylock lid to allow access for maintenance purposes and as a means to visually sight that the lid is secured inplace following lid removal. The key is made from stainless steel so that it can also be used as a lifting tool once the access cover has been unlocked. Due to public safety and security concerns, the key is only made available through authorised distributors or registered end-users.

This access lid keylock assembly is designed for supportive access into an inground device. The keylock assembly is installed in the lid to provide a keylock seal on the PE lid. A keylock assembly or multiple keylock assemblies installed in the tank can assist entry and egress from the tank. When closed, the assembly can act as a barrier and prevent accidental tank entry and provide additional for the manhole cover.

This access ladder is designed for supportive access into a tank over 1200 mm depth. The ladder swings up to provide climbing support and engages with the ladder installed in the tank to assist entry and egress from the tank. When closed, the assembly can act as a barrier and prevent accidental tank entry and provide additional support for the manhole cover.

This is the primary pollutant separator within STORM_save and is designed to efficiently remove solids from the water flow and direct them to the central disposal tube along with a small amount of water. The water ensures that the pollutants are effectively moved on to the downstream Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) where they are retained for removal from the drainage system. The majority of the inflow water passes through the sieve into the outlet chamber and on for further filtration, or directly into storage.

This is the primary pollutant separator within STORM_save and is designed to efficiently remove solids from the water flow and direct them to the centre disposal tube. The filtered water passes through the sieve to the First Flush Diverter where the initial heavily polluted flows are diverted to waste. The subsequent flow is passed for further filtration or directly into storage.
