Short Description

Ecov DN150 threaded tank adapter for DWV SW pipe and fittings. The adapter incorporates a tool connect fitting design and includes one standard screw-cap flat washer and a 10 mm round x 158 mm diameter rubber O'ring for secondary sealing.

The use of this assembly avoids cuting into the side wall of a polyethylene or other tank causing a change in the structurial integrity of the tank and its ground loading effect on its design safety factor.

Detailed Description

Ecov DN150 threaded tank adapter provides convenient connection of DWV SW pipe and fittings for tank bottom level inlet connections for pump stations and OSD configuration product assemblies. The handy adaptor is supplied with a commonlt available screw-cap flat washer plus a 6mm rubberised O'ring sealing washed for a dual water seal connection.

The innovative adapter allows a water seal from polyethylene tanks to DWV drainage pipe and fittings using a double start double depth acme thread. The Ecov PE tanks have moulded connectors provided that allow other standard depth screw-cap fittings however the robustness and water seal may not be achieved with other common uPVC fittings.
