It is designed to handle both the clean and dirty water typically found on building sites and flooded excavations etc. The pump will handle small amounts of grit and light sludge easily and is suitable for many types of water transfer applications. The pumps has a robust cast iron head and base with a stainless steel body. The cast iron impeller will allow a solid pass-through of up to 5mm.
