Gross Pollutant Trap

The Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) is an essential element of an efficient stormwater treatment train. The GPT separates out gross pollutants like organics such as leaf litter etc and rubbish that enter street drains or sediment and loose vegitation from unstabilised catchments.  These principle pollutants that generally represent a high proportion of the visible contaminants that are carried downstream in the stormwater flows are substantially seperated out and trapped for later removal during routine maintenance operations. Pollutants are efficiently removed with a vacuum vehicle and taken away for later recycling. Read More
